LAKEWOOD, NEW YORK Frosty is the sweetest senior that you have ever seen. He looks and acts much younger than his 15 years. He has been a beloved pet all those years, losing his human Mom 4 months ago and now his human Dad just had to go into a nursing home. He has cataracts but still sees very well and navigates steps with no problems. Frosty is housebroken and does "his business" as soon as you take him out. He gets quite excited when it is time to eat and, amazingly, even danced on his hind legs!!!! Frosty gets along well with other dogs and also cats. He loves to curl up beside you in a chair and has much love to give the person willing to give him his forever home. Frosty is neutered and current on all of his shots.
Frosty was only in foster care for 4 days when a girl that I work with, Dottie, said her mother would like to give Frosty his forever home. I took him to Ethel Decker that very night and it was love at first sight. He has a wonderful fenced in back yard, he has his own chair at the table and his own chair in the living room. He also has a new buddy, Tykie who has the same privileges. We are so happy for this little guy to be back into a loving home again so quickly.
You can see Frosty has his little red coat on in the picture. Ethel says red is her favorite color. The other dog in the picture is "Tykie". Frosty has made himself right at home now and loves his new home. His favorite spot to sleep is in the middle of all the toys, which are very plentiful in Ethel's home. Frosty is still very agile for being almost 16! Ethel says Frosty is very good and gets along well with Tykie.
