Marley was rescued from a Texas back yard. He had been tied to a rope and left outside on a 110 degree day without water or shelter. The owners were cruel and no longer cared about him. Some neighbors did care, though, and stepped in to save him. They contacted Northcentral Maltese Rescue (NMR) and the Rescue stepped up to the challenge. By contacting and working with the owner, the Rescue was able to take Marley into the Rescue’s care. Marley was surrendered by the owner and given all of the care that he so desperately needed. His hair was extremely matted and had to be completely shaved off. He was neutered and his teeth were cleaned. He received all of his shots. Marley has been given a new life and placed with a loving and caring family in Texas. He is now living la dolce vita (the sweet life) in an air conditioned home.
