Do you find yourself in circumstances where you have to give up your Maltese? Northcentral Maltese Rescue, Inc. wants you to know that we are here to help. We welcome any Maltese that needs to leave its home for any reason. This is the most loving decision a family can make for their beloved pet. We understand that this can be a difficult decision and we want to make the transition as easy as possible for you and your dog.
We are a volunteer organization and work from donations only. Because of this we do not pay for dogs surrendered to us. What money we do receive is used only to transport and provide health care for the dogs in rescue. Donations are appreciated but are not necessary in order for us to accept a dog.
Because we have limited resources, we can only accept purebred Maltese at this time.
Information We Need to Know
We do not need to know all of the personal details of why you are surrendering your dog unless it applys to their behaivor or health issues.
After we have contacted you we will send a "Release Form" to you on which you can give detailed information about your Maltese.
Northcentral Maltese Rescue was created to find loving forever homes for Maltese dogs and that is our commitment to all owners who wish to place their beloved pet in our care. If you live a distance from us we will need to work together to arrange transport of your Maltese to one of our foster homes.

However, if this dog should display any aggressive or vicious tendencies, Northcentral Maltese, Inc. has the right to make your Release Contract null and void. The dog will then be returned to the original owner or responsible party who released this dog into rescue. That party will assume all liabilities incurred arising out of that aggression.
